Obituary of PELL – Ernest Thomas Eaton

June 29, 1919 – February 13, 2010 Ernie passed away in High River on Saturday February 13, 2010 at the age of 90 years. Ernie was a World War II Veteran, on the mine sweepers off the coast of Newfoundland, he was seconded to the Canadian Navy. He also spent time in Northern Canada working in different camps as a cook, and had many stories about the interesting people he met. He had a great love of the outdoors, animals, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ernie was a kind, caring and compassionate man. Ernie leaves a family of four daughters to celebrate his life, Josephine (Hugh), Pauline (Allen), Ernestine and Angeline and former sons-in-law John Wester and Alfred Dumont, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother in Canada, and two sisters in England. Ernie was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Ann Colgin Pell. A celebration of Ernie’s life will be held at a later date at High River Long Term Care. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
