Condolences
I remember Jean. I was a junior at the Daily Oil Bulletin in the mid 70’s. She was trim, disciplined, energetic and kind. She taught me how to honestly accept a compliment and not brush it off. I think Jean had things she wanted to get off her chest but no one to speak with; I was mature but a bit intimidated by management like Jean. When I’ve thought of her I wished I could have bought her lunch and let her share her burden. Karin

To Jean’s family, my deepest sympathy in the passing of your mom. I worked with Jean at the Daily Oil Bulletin for a number of years, and she was one of the nicest and hardest working people I have ever worked with. Although I have not talked to her in a number of years, the last time we exchanged words she told me that she had cancer. I can only imagine how difficult life became for her since my husband’s brother-in-law died of lung cancer. Again my deepest sympathy to all of you at this time of sorrow. Carol Mossfeldt (nee Fairley)
