Pat: Where did the years go. I am very guilty of too little, too late; I should have kept in touch. You profoundly effected my life, and I thank you for that. You have been, and always will be, in my memories.

I was fortunate to be one of Pat Reid’s many students at E.P Scarlett from 1980-1984. I was in her drama classes and in every school production she undertook. She was inspiring, creative and always pushed me to challenge myself with acting. More than that she showed me that drama was of a huge benefit to the rest of my life and was always suuportive in everything I did.

I now work in the film and television industry – a career that was no doubt fostered by a skilled and passionate teacher. I have Pat Reid to thank for that. She will be missed.
