Dear Brian: On behalf of myself and CASARA (CARES), I/we wish to send our most sincere condolences to you and your entire family on the loss of your father. May he rest in peace.
Dear Hilda & family
We are saddened with the news of Joe’s passing. He was a dear friend and neighbor; a privilege to have known him for the past 28 years. We shall miss him, energetically working around the yard, his friendly wave as we drive by, our endless chats in our front yards. We will treasure those enjoyable dinners in your home and ours; with spirited, interesting conversations.
Much love,
Bud and Georgina Clark
To Dr. Moghadam’s loving family:
When Dr. Moghadam sat on the admissions committee for the medical school at UCalgary, he was unfailingly thoughtful, kind, respectful, humble and fair. Although that was more than 20 years ago and I have seen him only rarely since, his warmth and decency are remembered still. He was a wonderful human being and I am so, so sorry for your loss.
Dear Hilda, Brian, Kenneth and Michael:
It is with much sorrow that we learned
of my Uncle’s passing on Wednesday.
He was a wonderfully spirited man that we looked at with much admiration. He led a remarkable life and will be missed by family, relatives and friends.
With Love.
Hamid, Ati, Sheila and Bobby Mogadam.

Dear Hilda, My thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time.
Dr. Joe was so very loved by everyone that met him. I will always remember the gift of time that both of you gave to Ronald McDonald House.

Dear Hilda We were indeed saddened to hear of the passing of your best friend and companion of many years. You were very much a team, whether it was a gardening project, a hiking trip or filling the grocery chart. The neighborhood will be missing a special person who always had a ready smile.
Dear Hilda and family”
It is with deep regret that I heard that Joe was ill and now gone. He was a wonderful mentor for our staff at DAT & the old Children’s Hospital. His gentle manner, humour, great intellect, wit and ability to make the impossible happen, endeared him to us all.
I will remember his/your friendship to staff young & old and he has a place in the hearts of our Neuromotor Team.
Fondly,
Bonnie OB
Dear Hilda and family”
It is with deep regret that i heard of the death of your husband. I did not realize that he was ill as I am out of country at this time.
I worked for Joe as his private Secretary when we moved to the new part of the old children’s Hospsital and I greatly respected him. He was a very intelligent, kind and gentle man who worked very hard for the good of the children and their families.
Respectfully
Marian Erickson
I was saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. I worked with him as part of the Hearing Clinic team of which he was a valued member. I remember him as being a warm and caring individual who made great contribution his profession. My thoughts and sympathies are with the family.
Fondly,
Sylvia
Hilda, Brian, Ken, Michael & Families,
Our condolences on Hossein’s passing. We all loved him for his intelligence and as a wonderful human being. Whilst a top doctor and professor, he was firmly grounded, with a modesty that belied his abilities. When our Peter abrubtly quit smoking the pipe after experiencing some heart trouble (a remarkable feat considering that the pipe was a part of his personality and lifestyle), the trigger point was Hossein telling him he had to do it for his health. When Hossein spoke, Peter listened, as he had immense respect for his knowledge and judgment.
With love,
~ The Greteners
