Condolences
Darol…I was saddened to learn via the published obituary in the Edmonton Journal of the loss of your beloved life partner and extend to you my deepest sympathy. I trust she did not have to battle a major health challenge during her lifetime.
I share your sadness having been widowed twice myself…the year of the firsts ( anniversaries, birthdays, etc.) is the most difficult to experience but eventually the memories of a happy shared life ease the pain of the heart. I trust it will be so for you and yours.
As a voice from the past, I offer my sincere condolences. My thoughts are with you and your family and my prayers join yours. Godspeed!
Mona

Dear Darol and family
What a privilege it has been to have Joan in our lives –she was truly a good friend, always caring, always really listening. She was a childhood friend, my bridesmaid, travelling companion, quilting friend and so much more. Joan was so courageous right to the end–an inspiration for all of us. She will be deeply missed. love, Don and Doreen
Darol…
Noticed Joan’s obit in the paper this morning. I’m sure these past few years have been challenging for both you & Joan.
Bless your heart for being there, caring, & supporting her. And I’m sure you did it with love & grace.
My heartfelt sypmathy goes out to you & your family as you mourn the loss of your loved one. Trust you can celebrate Joan’s life by remembering the many happy memories of your life together. Know that she will live on in the hearts of her family & friends forever.
I’ll always remember what a dedicated & wonderful volunteer you were. Can you believe it’s CSRS’s 15th anniversary this June? Take care Darol.
Sincerely, Mildred
