My condolences on the passing of your mother, grandmother. When I saw her picture in the obituary, I knew her right away. “Mrs. Ashmore” was one of the first managers I worked for at Simpson’s, in the mid – ’70s, at Fairview! I remember her being very elegant. She was also a friend of my mom’s (Margaret D’angelo) – who worked in the cash office. My sympathy to your family.
