Condolences
Gail,
I was so saddened to hear of Marvin’s passing. I enjoyed his tales and sense of humour, most recently at the ISH Christmas party in December. You are in my thoughts at this difficult time.
Marvin was our neighbor friend. His good humor and cheer will be sorely missed. He was so kind to us and our boys. Our deepest sympathies go out to all of Marvin’s family and friends.
Marvin will be sorely missed for his sense of humor and love of nature, not many people enjoyed his hikes and bridge play more than him. He was always a good sport and did two backpack trips in the Kananaskis country with a close group of 4 that played cards even at lunch breaks on the trail. These trips satisfied his sense of adventure and provided good memories for us all.
Please accept my condolences on the passing of a well liked and respected member of the geophysical community. I have appreciated following in his exploration footsteps.
Best wishes to his family and close friends.
To Gail Hill, Jonathan & Angela:
We were deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Marvin’s passing. Ernie has known Marvin since they were kids together in Saskatchewan. We are sorry that we did not know about his recent illness. We are very sorry that we will not be able to attend his funeral but we are in Arizona for the winter. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this most difficult time.
