Dear Mike, Lindsay, Diego and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Patti’s passing. We had lost touch over the past few years. I use to live down the street from you in Redwood meadows. I remember our heart to heart talks and sharing a glass of wine together. Her kind gentle soul will never be forgotten. A woman who always spoke her mind. She was an inspiration to many.
So sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences. Hugs Susan Howie
To Patti’s Family: Our family was deeply saddened to learn of Patti’s passing. Our families were very close many years ago – Patti’s Mom & Dad were witnesses at my Mom & Dad’s wedding in Melfort. Just recently Mom and I were talking and wondering how Marion, Patti and Linda were and it was in my search to connect with Patti that I discovered she had passed. Please accept our deepest condolences – from Aina Baker (my Mom) and Nadine Baker
It is heartbreaking to learn of the passing of a former colleague and friend especially when we lose them at an early age. Patti always took her duties as a health care provider very seriously. She was very protective and proud of her nursing staff. She was a great person to be around. She certainly enjoyed a good laugh and her chuckle was infectious.
Mike, Leslie and family, please accept the expression of my sincere condolences.
My condolences to the family and friends of Patti. I am sorry to hear of her untimely passing. Rest in peace Patti.
Dear Mike,
I am so sorry for the loss and pain you, Lindsay and the rest of your family and friends are going through at this time. You and your family, especially Patti were such a joy to spend time with at Newpark functions. She had such welcoming manner that put you at ease and made you feel like you belong. I know this has already been a difficult year for you and Patti will leave a huge hole in your lives. Keep the good memories close for comfort along with your family and friends that want to support you. I wish you much love and support.
Our hearts are heavy with sorrow as we send you our deepest condolences. Sincerely, Carrie Nanninga and family
To Mike & Lindsay,
Just wanted to let you know that though I only met Patti a handful of times she left a big mark. She was very kind and welcoming to me when I felt awkward at work events at (Newpark), first impression was how funny, kind and warm she was. She was an exceptional person.
Dear Mike & Lindsay & Diego and Family
We are so saddened and shocked to hear of Patti’s passing. We have only spent a few ‘quality hours’ with you Folks and have enjoyed that time emensly. Patti will be missed by anyone who knew her and especially loved her. Always remember those special times you have shared and remember that not even death can take away those memories – they will be in your heart forever. Thinking of you all.
Mike, I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss. I too worked with Patty at Spy Hill and our boys were born around the same time. Patty was always so full of energy and enthusiasm and always seemed to have a plan for more fun! Prayers to you all.
I am just heartbroken for you… Patti was a wonderful person and your family was always so strong together through all of your ups and downs. Please know I’m thinking about you and sending love to you both.
Mike, I am devastated to hear of the news. My heart hurts for you and your family. Hugs
Mike and Lyndsay, my heartfelt condolences during this very difficult time. I got to know you and your family through your sister Pat who I have known for over 35 years and I always felt that we shared some wonderful memories along the way. She was a character to say the least and I know she is watching over everyone and wishing only the best going forward.
We are very sorry to hear of Patti’s passing. Please accept our deepest sympathies for your terrible loss. Patti was a beautiful person. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love
John & Joy Ceelen and family
I worked with Patti in the Addiction Network and bumped into her only in passing a couple of months ago. Even though she was dealing with some health issues she was in good spirits and always willing to talk and catch up. Truly sorry for your loss she will be missed greatly.
Mike and Lindsay and to the rest of Patti’s family. I worked with Patti in corrections for several years. Patti was my manager but she was also my mentor and good friend. She supported me thru some of the toughest moments in my life and I am and will remain forever indebted to her. She was a woman well ahead of her time and she intimidated some but most couldn’t help but become enamoured by her spirit, her laughter and wonderful sense of humour. We teased her about her “flared nostrils”, but we all knew she meant business and someone was in trouble. With all my years as a nurse, I have never again encountered a manger that I learned more from and wanted to be more like. God Bless you Patti, you will be dreadfully missed. Stay strong Mike and Lindsay, she’d want you to be. Hopefully, she’s now playing golf with Dana.
It is with a very heavy heart that I write this note, but send my sincerest sympathy to the family.
Patti and I go back to the CCC days. It was one of my first Nursing jobs and she guided me to develop a solid, strong foundation to my Nursing career. I will always be grateful for her mentorship.
After I moved away, our contact was infrequent, but she was always in my thoughts. In fact I had sent her birthday wishes on the 25, and she told me to come & visit soon.
Patti, you hold a very special place in my heart and you will be sorely missed!
I met Patti and her family through my friendship with her sister Linda.
I cannot express how sorry I am to hear of this great tradgedy. The world has lost a great woman.
My most sincere sympathy to Mike, Lindsay and the family.
I worked with Patti at CCC. She was a great Health Care manager and we regularly teased her for the flaring nostrils. She will be missed.
Prayers and sympathy to Patti’s family.
My deepest sympathy to Mike, Lindsey and grandchildren. Patti was fun, caring & supportive in her work and as a friend. I appreciate having spent time with her, she will be greatly missed.
Till we meet again
