Condolences
Melissa,
I’m saddened to learn of your mother’s death. Your mother was my first girl friend in Regina when we met at a dance in High School. She went to Sheldon Collegette and I was at Campion College. Although our paths only crossed a few times, we remained friends for many years, and I visited your Grandma in Regina whenever I was in Regina. Kathy was what I called her, which was special to her in our teenage days. Kathy was a great dancer(jive) which we both enjoyed. She was a lovely person with a kind heart and she always mentioned her love of her family. Hope you get this message. I wish I could have known of her illness and visited her when I was in Calgary.

Melissa,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by many.
Take care.
Trent, Mark and Melissa,
Your mom was an extraordinary person who exuded strength. Each time I had to visit with her, I thoroughly enjoyed her comments and conversation. As a kid, my favourite birthday party and Boxing Day memories are of those with the McKays. I know your mom played a very big role in creating an environment for those memories to be created. I also know your mom helped to create many life changing experiences for so many young Princesses and Queens. Your mom made footprints for others and how truly wonderful that is. And of course, look at her children today – each of you an outstanding, unique individual who is making your own footprints.
Love,
Cousin Bill
Melissa,
I will always remember your mom for her enthusiastic charm. My brother Laurie worked with her for many years at The Bay. She was always interested to see our girls when we would come to the mall for lunch, and of course they were very excited to have fries with her and Uncle Laurie. I had 2 lovely visits with your mom in the last few months and I also got to finally meet you. My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I know you will have many wonderful memories of happy times to help heal your loss.

Dear Melissa and family,
I was sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. We worked together in The Bay shoe department and we lived through what are now memories of you being chosen a princess, the arrivals of Trent’s children and Marks travels. It was a fun time and her being there made our little group special. Beautiful memories last forever.
