Obituary of LUEY – Mildred Ruth

January 4, 1923 – January 25, 2010 Mildred Luey passed away on January 25, 2010 at Foothills Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her loving daughters, Wanda (Frank) Derwee and Wendy Norbeck; granddaughters Cindy (Rob) Church; Chrissy ( Shane) Poon; great grandson Justin Derwee Church and great grand daughters, Lily Derwee Church and Jade Derwee Poon; sister Stephanie Holem, brothers Raymond ( Lois) Goon, Randy(June) Goon and nieces, Lesley and Kelly Goon. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Wesley and her brother Lawrence. Mildred was nicknamed GiGi (short for great grandmother) and cherished her time with her great grand children. She will be lovingly remembered by friends and family as a loving and caring individual. A Private Service will be held to at MCINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 CROWFOOT CIRCLE N.W.), on Sunday January 31, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the charity of your choice.
