Condolences
I am sorry to hear of Jim’s early departure as we used to tease each other about our diabetes, and then Jim following me in breaking his ankle. I told him he would have to give up his scooter or just let me ride it to which he would swat me one.
The Big Friendly guy will be missed by every one

Jim will be sadly missed by alot of peolple. He had a way of making people feel welcome. He would always stop in at the shunt shack and talked to all of the dispatchers, me included making me feel welcome with being the new kid on the block. I will miss you Jim.
We would wave or say hi to each other or we stand and talk, always chipper one of his coworkers from H&R We will miss you JIM your friend Joe Kamphuis
Barb.
We will miss Jim with all our hearts. Jim was a character as big as life itself. He had an amazing ability to make us smile and make friends wherever he was. He always praised you and how you kept him on the straight and narrow. Even though we are not able to come to Calgary our thoughts are with you. It was wonderful that Jim was able to visit just a few weeks ago. We spent many hours reminiscing about our lives growing up. Goodbye Jim we will always love you and remember the good times.
