Obituary of VELDHOEN – Murray
November 24, 1928 – January 25, 2010
Murray Veldhoen, beloved husband of Muriel of Calgary, passed away in Scottsdale, AZ, as the result of a heart attack, on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the age of 81 years.
Murray moved from Kindersley, SK to Calgary in 1964 where he worked at Fruehauf Trailers’ service dept. for twenty-five years. Murray retired to the DeWinton area, residing there for nineteen years.
Left with many happy memories are Murray’s four children, sons and daughter-in-law, Ray and Denise, and Wayne; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Ian and Valerie and Wayne Culp; as well as grandchildren, Rachelle, Lisa, Jayson (Kristin), Josh, Mia, Gerad Coles, Jacqueline Coles and Jennifer Culp. Murray is also survived by his brother Cory and brother-in-law Leslie Scribner. He was predeceased by his brother John.
