Condolences
Jerry, Jeanette, Don and families,
We just heard from Wayne Thomas. Our sincerest sympathies. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by all who knew her. She sure kept us on the straight and narrow. God bless.
Kindest regards,
Brian and Margaret
There is no doubt that Anne led a full life. She was very proud of her 3 children and was blessed to have them all grow up around her in Calgary. She bragged of her grand children and their progress throughout youth.
We were fortunate to have visited her 3 times in the west and to have had her here in Miramichi. She had great character and loved what her brother, Wes could add to the humorous side of life. She loved the occasions when you would get together at her house for Xmas dinner or go out for birthdays. Treasure these memories. Imagine how many flowers she nurtured throughout her life or cups of tea with friends or plans for a special Vegas run! She loved socializing. Her part in getting her family to come east for Dan & Dee’s 25th wedding celebration made her happy that maybe her children would come east again in later years – now it will be up to you to do that. Lena and Nancy’s family visit last summer should make you realize you would be welcome.
Anne’s quick death would have been her grace to her family as she always took pride in maintaining her independence. May you always have fond memories of her. Jeanette, Don and Gerry and families -our sympathy on your great loss.
Much love,
Kevin & Suzanne
To Jeanette & Family,
Your Mother was such a wonderful person all those years ago and I am so glad you had her for so long. Please accept my condolences on this very sad occasion.

It is with a heavy heart that I send this message. In my wonderful aunt, I found a bond that was much more than words can actually say. The hours of reminiscing and laughing about times gone by, will never be forgotten. I often think of walks in the park, frequent cups of tea and homemade cookies, and just so many memories that are too numerous to list.
Jeanette, Jerry, and Don, you were blessed with a wonderful mother. May your memories of her big heart, caring ways and love for life, remain with you forever. I am so thankful for times spent with you and with her. Her grandchildren were also blessed to have gotten to know their grandmother as well as they did. I know that this meant so much to Anne. She truly beamed when she would speak of Joel, Frankie, Katie, Carey and Carly. She was what a grandmother should be – proud.
Though you will not see me tomorrow in person, please know that I will be there in mind and spirit. I will be thinking of you.
Much love,
Lena
I was a neighbor across the lane in Beltline and Ralph & Anne were fine people. Ralph used to take me fishing up on the Raven River…we had lots of fun.
Anne was especially nice, gentle and kind and raised the 3 kids very well.
Sympathy and sincere best wishes to all the family from Don & Linda Snow.
Our deepest condolence to the Thacker family on your loss of a truly wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in-law and friend. I have many fond memories of Anne that I will charish forever. “A cup of tea with gramma’s bread to her”
Love Leanne & Rick
I am so sorry for your loss. My mother, Vivian Maynes, lives next door to where your mom did and I know she enjoyed your mom’s friendship. Once again, I am truly sorry.
How do you say goodbye to someone whom has taught you so much? Well, you just tell them how much they have meant to you and hope that they knew all along even though you may have not voiced it. I will never forget you Aunt Anne and I truly thank you for opening your home and your family to mom and I. From the day we met in 1984, I learned daily from you. You taught me responsibility, empathy, how hard work pays off, respect and mostly, you taught me to be proud and to always make the best choices. I thank you for your guidance and your love all of those years. I will never forget our time on 41st avenue. I am glad that you had a chance to meet my own family and they are genuinely glad to have spent time with you. To Jeannette, Jerry, Don and families – remember every moment spent with a great women and remember that your extended family in N.B. is thinking of you at this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.
Love,
Nancy xoxo
