Obituary of REDWOOD – A.J. Dakota

October 26, 1990 – January 21, 2010 A.J. Dakota passed away in Edmonton, AB on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the age of 19 years. Dakota is survived by his wife Shayleen Ward of Enoch, AB; two daughters Ava Harmony Redwood and Skylar Dawn Redwood – Ward; mother Denise Wolf Leg; stepfather Delbert Sabit; paternal grandmother Diane Redwood; two brothers Isaiah Wolf Leg and Joel Sabit; sister Desiree Redwood; stepbrothers Jason, Leo and Johnny Sabit; stepsister Brooklyn Sabit; uncles Allen Redwood and Rodney Wolf Leg; in-laws from Enoch, AB, and numerous aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from Alberta and Saskatchewan. Dakota was predeceased by his father Arthur James Redwood; maternal grandparents Gail Wolf Leg and Ronald Keewatin; paternal grandfather Arthur Right Hand. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Denise Wolf Leg (Siksika Nation, AB) Today, Friday, January 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbour on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
