Obituary of JACKSON – Ervie Harvey Willis

January 9, 1919 – January 21, 2010 Ervie Jackson, beloved husband of Kay Jackson of Calgary, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on January 21, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Ervie was born in Strathmore, AB on January 9, 1919 and grew up in Evarts, AB. He served in World War II with The Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers. Ervie was Past President of the Calgary and Alberta Real Estate Boards and Regional Vice President of the Canadian Real Estate Association. Ervie will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Kay; sons Andrew (Marilyn) and Gary (Alix); grandchildren Joel, Claire, Lauren, Cameron and Morgan, and great grandchild, Ezekiel. Ervie will also be remembered by his sister Fernie Powers and family and sister-in-law Dot Torpe and family. He was predeceased by daughter Carolyn. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Union Cemetery.
