Obituary of WOLF LEG – Trudy Louise

October 3, 1971 – January 18, 2010 Trudy was born on October 3, 1971 and passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2010, surrounded by her family at the Rockyview General Hospital. Trudy was raised on the Siksika Nation during her early childhood years before her mother took her and her siblings to Calgary to finish raising them. Trudy enjoyed her city life and made lots of friends in the city. She was very friendly and would help anyone in need. Trudy loved her family and always kept in touch with them. She moved back to the Siksika Nation to be with her father Gilbert Young, who she loved very much. Trudy is survived by her children, David, Jackson, Tyler and Reid; her father Gilbert Young; siblings, Tiffany Black Kettle and Angela Wolf Leg; aunties, Grace Young, Kathy Calf Robe, Sharon Calf Robe, Roselyn Sun Walk, and Andrea Wolf Leg; uncles, Ed (Marie) Calf Robe and Bruce (Wanda) Calf Robe. Trudy is also survived by her companion Mike Friesen. Trudy was predeceased by her mother Shirley; sisters, Tammy and Tenielle; brother Alvin Black Kettle; uncle Jerome Wolf Leg; as well as uncles and aunties from the Young family and Calf Robe family; and grandparents, Jim and Louise Young, and Clara and Richard Wolf leg. The family apologizes if they have missed anyone. Wake Services will be held at the Siksika Community Centre (Siksika Nation, AB) on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Siksika Community Centre (Siksika Nation, AB) on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
