Condolences
Kay was my landlady and my first, and my long and close friend when I came to Canada aged 24 in 1964. I got married from her house and she was like a mother to me, as indeed she was a real Auntie to my two children Charles and Chantal who loved her dearly. We were very sorry when she left Ontario but understood her reasons. We kept up for many years and I visited her in Calgary about 8 years ago but lately had just been phoning her on her Birthday. This year we could not reach her. We are very sad to have discovered this website and her death this year. She was a fine loving kind a considerate person, always fun and cheerful and an interesting companion, despite some set backs early in life. It was a priviledge for anyone to have known her but especially so for our family who saw her so frequently and were so close to her.
