Lois was a lady who took the world by storm. We met through her niece Debb during golf. It was Provincials and she was competing with those of us who were much younger. We could hardly keep up with her. I was always in aw of Lois. She was an amazing golfer and especially for her age, but so much more than that. She was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed being around her and listening to her stories. She always greeted me with a big hug like we had always been old friends. That’s the way she was. It was easy to see why she was loved by so many and I know for certain she will be dearly missed. But our loss is heavens gain.
