Obituary of FREEMAN – Donna Mae

September 7, 1944 – January 7, 2010 Donna Mae Freeman of Calgary passed away after a brief, but courageous battle with lung cancer at the Foothills Medical Centre on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the age of 65 years. Donna was born in Vancouver, B.C. Prior to moving to Calgary in September 2007, she had lived in Edmonton for 32 years. Donna recently retired from Revenue Canada where she worked as a collections officer for many years. She was a past treasurer for the Opera Guild of Edmonton. Donna had many passions including her incredible love for all her pets she had over the years, reading, watching old movies, eclectic clothing and jewellery, and travelling to destinations like Mexico and England. Donna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Laura Freeman of Calgary, AB; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Richard Iwaniuk of St. Albert, AB; four grandchildren, Elise, Lara and Natalie Iwaniuk and Ross Freeman; and two sisters, Marie Nelson and Teresa Powers. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Faith and Edward (Ted) Marshall. At Donna’s request, there will be no service held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
