Obituary of SALE – Vernon Gene

July 18, 1950 – January 3, 2010 Vern went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the age of 59 years after fighting a long hard battle with esophageal cancer. Thanks to God and a bone marrow transplant, Vern lived twelve years previous from Stage IV non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of thirty-four years Evelyn, son Colin (Trudy) and grandson Cayden; daughter Crystal (Jason Russ) all of Calgary AB; mother Evelyn Sale of Kindersley, SK; brothers, Rick of Hoosier, SK, Roger of Houston, TX; sister Lori (Dan Boisvert) of Marengo, SK; aunts Barbara Sale and Wilma Becker; uncle Sonny Weisbrod; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Vern was predeceased by his father Gene Sale in 1984. Funeral Services will be held at Advent Lutheran Church at (11 Scenic Acres Gate N.W.) on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
