Obituary of John Wesley WINCHESTER

August 12, 1925 – January 1, 2010 John Wesley passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Calgary Foothills Hospital in his 85th year after a long struggle with his family by his side Wes was the beloved husband of Velma and, loving father of Donald (Marilyn) of Calgary; loving grandfather of Jamesee (Marianne) of Ottawa and Scott (Sawsan) of New Westminster, B.C.; proud great grandfather of Adrianna, Alecia and, Isabelle of Ottawa. Wes will be greatly missed by his many brothers, sisters and extended family in Ontario. Many thanks to Dr. Schorr and the dedicated staff of Unit #37, Foothills Hospital, for their caring to dad’s needs over these difficult weeks – and to staff at Newport Harbour Care Centre in the months preceding. A Memorial Service followed by burial at Creemore Union Cemetery (ON) will take place in the spring.
