To Theresa and his wife Gail and their precious son who I only knew as a baby.

Although it is some thirty years since I saw Ted–I will always remember what a

gentle and thoughtful man he was. I was devastated to hear of his death which I only found by trying to google some of my old friends in program–no success yet.

The wonderful picture of Ted made me so sad that I hadn`t been in touch sooner.

Ted I shall always remeber your sweet smile,your kindness and your willingness to listen and understand.

Rest in peace my friend.

Gail, Jim, Teresa –

As Teresa knows, Ted was Tim’s sponsor and friend when we lived in Vancouver some twenty years ago now. Though we haven’t really been in touch since Terre and I left Vancouver (seventeen years ago last month), we have never forgotten the kindnesses Ted showed us or the time he so generously gave us and others. We were saddened to hear of his death.

BERNHARD AND I SEND OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO YOU GAIL. YOU AND TED WERE SO MEANT FOR EACH OTHER. YOU HAD SUCH DEEP LOVE AND AFFECTION, AND WERE SO BLESSED TO BE TOGETHER, ALTHOUGH FOR SUCH A SHORT TIME. YOU WILL HAVE BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES TO CHERISH, THAT WILL LAST YOU A LIFETIME. Ted was a man of courage, conviction and conscience who inspired me in my own Pilgrim’s Progress. He was one who could freely share his spiritual self with others…to their benefit. While I have not seen him for several years, I will miss him.

Ted was a trusted friend and confidante for over 20 years. As others have noted, he was true to his convictions and this encouraged others to do likewise. My sincere condolences to the family at their loss.

Rest well my friend and thanks for sharing yourself with us.

I came to know Ted at the Men’s Retreat and saw him nearly every year since 1992. I will miss him there. My condolences to Jim, Gail, and Theresa.

After 20 years of the Men’s Retreat, it will not be the same without Ted’s smiley happy face. However with his generous scholarship donation, other men may find recovery that Ted had in abundance and so lovingly shared with the rest of us. Our condolences to Gail, Jim and Theresa on his passing.
