Condolences
I am just learning of her passing! I have fond memories of Sonja growing up with her in Sandstone - Calgary. We used to ride our bikes all over, play in her parents basement and hang out in the RV. She was always kind, and am very sad to hear of her passing. Condolences to her family, and partner. - Donna

So saddened to hear of Sonja’s passing. I wasn’t lucky enough to know her very well but I enjoyed her visits whenever she stopped by with Zane. My condolences to Sonja’s family.
Mom, Dad, Zane, Nadine, David, Lauren & all the loving family that embraced Sonja. Words can not express the void that your body’s, mind’s, heart’s and soul’s are feeling. Her bright light, love for D.O.G.S. and the passion for life, good food, friendship, family and all things in-between will never be forgotten. She will always be in our thoughts.
Please let us know if you need anything.
See you in the moon, the stars, the sun and all the signs in between.
Miss you Bestie, TOAST!
love you always
Dear Lynne, Keith, Nadine and family:
It is with immeasurable sadness and sorrow that I write this note. I can’t fathom the loss and what you all are going through. Your beautiful, smart and kind Sonja is now without pain and discomfort, but left a hole you your and many others hearts. Let’s remember all the good things with which she enriched the lives of all around her.
They say that time heals all wounds – it is partially true – as some wounds never close properly. May you find strength in each other, your family and friends who are rallying around you.
Sincerely and with love…
Our heart goes out to you at this difficult time. Sonja, in her short time, appears to have accomplished a lot and lived life to the fullest. Cherish your memories.
I am so sorry for your loss, Lynne, Keith, Nadine and family. Sonja was a wonderful person and I am lucky to have known her. She is missed. Sending love to all who knew her.
Nadine
My sincere condolence to you, Sonja’s family and all those she touched.
What a beautiful woman she was.
Thinking of you.
Dear Nadine and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Sonja’s passing. Although I have never met Sonja, I know what a warm, kind, caring, delightful young woman she was because, if you know the older sister, you know the younger sister. You share the same gifts.
My heart breaks for all of you, the grief is so overwhelming. In time, you will smile through your tears when you remember your beautiful sister. The love, respect, the joy and sorrows, the many good times you shared with her are truly a gift. These memories are more valuable with each passing minute and while they may be a source of sadness and tears today, they will in time be a great source of comfort to you.
Thinking of others and delighting in their company, Sonja’s “Wake While I’m Awake celebration of her life was brilliant.
People will see her in you, in a turn of your head, a smile, a phrase, a look in your eye. She lives on in you and she will continue to be a great source of strength for you. She was a fighter!
God bless you all

Please accept my deepest condolences, Sonja and I shared many stories about our dogs over the years when we would bump into eachother at FortisAlberta. We would share many pictures and stories with lots of laughs. Sonja will be missed very much and left. A big impact on many people. Thanks so much Mr and Mrs Crowder and Nadine for organizing the celebration of life party last Thursday! It was a great event and I felt so lucky to attend. God bless
Mr. & Mrs. Crowder, Nadine and family,
My heart goes out to all of you at this very difficult time. Your daughter/sister touched my life when she started working for me at FortisAlberta. Not only was Sonja an employee of mine, she became a friend over the years. Sonja and her love for dogs is a memory that I will always keep. On days off, we would often see Sonja stopping by the office with Zane just to say hello and to show us her fur baby. I am glad that we were able to share in her Celebration of Life while she was still here with us. Please know that many of us are thinking of you and will keep Sonja’s memories close to our hearts. God bless you. Jocelyn
