Obituary of MARJANOVIC – Milan

January 10, 1934 – December 25, 2009 Milan Marjanovic, beloved husband of Barbara of Calgary, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2009 at the age of 75 years. Milan was born in Vukovar, Crotia on January 10, 1934. After serving in the Yugoslavian Navy, Milan worked in rubber factory for 21 years, and married Barbara in 1962. He immigrated to Canada with his wife and family in 1973, where he worked for Atco Homes, and later B & D welding. Milan loved fishing and the outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren. Milan is survived by loving wife Barbara; son Milan and daughter-in-law Irene; two daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Kevin Donald, and Barbara and Hany Shenouda; and grandchildren Michael, Ryan, Andrew, Matthew, and Katherine. Milan was predeceased by his parents Milan and Dobrila. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CATHOLIC CHURCH (400 Edmonton Trail N.E.) on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Following Graveside Service the family will be holding a wake at OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CATHOLIC CHURCH Hall (400 Edmonton Trail N.E.).
