Our condolences to your family.
John & Elizabeth Kugyelka from Breton are my parents. We would come to Calgary and visit with Auntie Kay and Uncle Louie Kugyelka and as their friends were part of the many social and celebratory gatherings–their friends were part of our family. As children, we are all around the same age. Your parents spoke of you all with great pride and shared your accomplishments and yet, we never met.
As youngsters, we listened to many stories of the antics and adventrues of Mr. Astalos, Mr. Vidra and Uncle Louie. Three great friends sharing fishing and hunting tales and when each shared their perspective of the same adventure….well, we were never sure if it was just another “fish tale”! But, oh my, the laughter!
