Obituary of GEORGE – Renée Doris

December 29, 1920 – December 22, 2009 Our beloved mother and nana Renée, passed away in Calgary on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Mum was born in England and immigrated to Canada with Ron and her children in 1957. She was such a gracious, kind and loving person. Mum loved her family and nurtured us always. There are only good memories of our mother and we were so blessed to be her children. May her memory be a blessing. Renée leaves to mourn her son Chris (Judy) George; daughter Kathy Morgan; daughter-in-law Marion (David); six grandchildren: Shannon George, Trevor George, Tess (Blair) McCormick, Chelsea Morgenstern, Lisa George, and Morgan George; and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, David, Abigail, and Allison. She also will be lovingly remembered by her cherished sister Jean Morgan of Milwaukee, and her brother Roy (Val) Morgan of Australia, whom she loved so much. She also deeply treasured her friendship with Sylvia and Dan Harvey. Renée was predeceased by her husband Ron in 1998; her son David in 1990; her parents Edward and May Morgan; brothers, Rex and Anthony; and sisters, Kathleen and Shirley.
