Obituary of MAGLIS – Roy Gordon Joseph

December 3, 1924 – December 10, 2009 Roy Maglis passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Roy proudly served with the RCN during the WWII. He retired from the University of Calgary in 1986. Roy is survived by sons, Grant and Ronald; three grandchildren, Carlene (Darryl), Amanda (Tyson), and Thomas; five great-grandchildren, Joseph, William, Samuel, Charles, and Oliver; dear friend Rita Copeland and her extended family. Roy was predeceased by his son Michael Roy in 1977, wife Zena in 1966, mother and father Laura and Joseph, and his brother Glen. A private family gathering will be held.
