Obituary of LUTZ – Ernest James

January 20, 1935 – December 10, 2009 Ernest James (Jim) Lutz beloved husband of Louise of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Jim was born and raised in Calgary. Aside from the time developing and operating the family business, Happy Valley, Jim enjoyed his times “trucking”; a true trucker at heart. Jim and Louise enjoyed their early retirement years in Brisco, BC and High River, AB, recently relocating to Calgary to be closer to his family. Besides his loving wife of fifty-three years, Louise, Jim is also survived by his children, Cheryl (Kit), Greg, Bonnie (Garth) and Jacquee; grandchildren, Lauren, Jesse, Christopher, Bradley, Sarah, Ryan, Randy, and Travis; sister Beverly; and several nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Jessie Lutz. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. A private graveside service will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
