Condolences
“Dodo”,
so sorry to hear of George’s passing. My, where have the years gone. As I watched the Brier today I thought of us in Montreal, oh so many years ago at the McDonald’s Lassie.

Gerry and I were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of George – husband, father, grandfather and friend. We wish our brief visit with you in Inuvik had been longer but we still feel lucky that we were on the last Norweta cruise. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. May your memories sustain you in the months to come. God Bless you and your family.
Rose and Gerry
Dear Margaret and Family,
My thoughts are with you at this time. A favourite memory I have of George is in Wild Bread Bay in the East Arm. At the end of one day he paddled off in his canoe in to The Magic Finger. I like to think that that’s where he is now — with my George — together in the Happy Hunting Grounds.
I want to say how much I admire you and George for your restoring and operating of the Norweta — my favourite boat.

Margaret and Family;
I was saddened to read of Georges passing, I will always think of his good nature, energy and spirit while working with him on the Norweta.
May you all have peace and strength.
Dear Dodo and Family- Joyce and I were saddened to hear of your loss. George, you and your family were responsible for many happy memories of Hay River and the NWT. You are Blest with your children and grand-children to help you through this difficult time, plus your memories of your wonderful life together. We will visit the next time we are in Cochrane (my sister June Reece is still there). We were just sorting through old pictures and I found a great picture of Harry, plus one or two of picnics at Sandy Creek. We will bring them when we visit. Anytime you pass through Hope-let us know. Love from us both, Don and Joyce Olds.
Dear Margaret & Family,
I read today in News/North of George’s passing away. I told my mother, Laura, of this and she felt so sad. She talked of all the good times she had staying with your family and of your children she babysat and looked after.
Karen and I send our condolences. Besides being family, I wanted to remember George and how kind you have been over the years to my mother and to me when I spent a Christmas with you during my University years. So thank you and we will pray for you all.
God Bless you and have a good Christmas.
Sincerely,
Nick Sibbeston
