Obituary of RAHILLY – Donald Hugh

July 3, 1920– December 6, 2009 Donald Hugh Rahilly, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the age of 89 years, with his devoted family at his side. Donald was the beloved husband of Jane Rahilly; father of Don Jr., Kim, Brian and William; grandfather of Allison and Russell of Calgary and Cochrane and of Justine, Jeanne and Kloe of Montreal; father-in-law of Christine Fouint of Montreal and Glen Bell of Calgary. Donald was a veteran of WWII serving in Europe 1941-45 and participated in the liberation of Holland. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas.F. Rahilly; mother Violet K. Rahilly; and by brothers, Bernard, Tom and Vernon. The family wishes to acknowledge the endearing friendship of Norm Loudoun and his constant companionship for Donald over these last few years while he was in residence at the Chinook Care Centre.
