Condolences
Jerry was one of the most helpful people I have had the privilege to come across – always doing things beyond the call of duty. It was a pleasure to see him greet everyone who came off our Lufthansa flight and also how he treated the wheelchair passengers. I remember one incident which took place a couple of weeks ago when we had an Unaccompanied Minor on our flight. Jerry was in charge of this child and as per the procedure has to hand him over to the parent or escort. This child’s father was delayed for over an hour. The child was getting panicky, but Jerry with his calm assuring manner kept the child at ease and never left his side till the parent came to collect him. Personally, he was a great help to me and my colleagues from Lost and Found – always helping beyond what was required. Jerry was a person who enjoyed working at the Airport and had a very good rapport with everyone. To Olga and Jerry’s children, your father was a star and he will be greatly missed. I consider it a privilege to have come to know him. May his soul rest in peace and God give you the strength to tide through this time of loss.
Deepest sympathy to all of you. We are thinking of you

Dear Olga
I am truly sorry to hear about Jerry’s sudden passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Life has been so tough on you this year. If you need to talk or go for coffee let me know. Hopefully I will be driving by next week and I will call you. Take care. Loraine
