Obituary of GASPAR – Milan

February 27, 1928 – December 4, 2009 Milan Gaspar, beloved husband of Viera Gaspar passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Milan was born in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia and immigrated to Fernie, B.C. in 1969. He was employed by Kaiser Resources until his retirement. Milan and Viera lived in Lethbridge and in 1994 moved to Calgary. Besides his loving wife, Milan is survived by his daughter Erika Serek and son Igor (Alica) Gaspar and grandchildren Jenn Serek and Christina Gaspar. Milan was predeceased by his parents, his sister Anna and brother Ondrej. A Celebration of Milan’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
