Obituary of DONALD – Margaret H.

April 18, 1931 – December 2, 2009 Margaret H. (Marg) Donald (nee Phillips) passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Marg was born and raised in Calgary. She saw the sun rise over the city she loved from a stunning view of the city, perched up high in the sky from the Foothills Hospital, just a few days before she left us. Throughout the years she was always looking for a group of people to help with. Whether singing in the church choir or working with disabled individuals at the Fanning Center, she always felt the need to participate and help out when she could. She was also a valuable volunteer at Confederation Park Senior Center and loved to belong to such a wonderful group of people. Her giving nature spilled over onto her personal friends and family members. She was happiest when helping and will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her. A life that’s been lived with others in mind touches many hearts and goes on – forever. Marg is survived by her daughter Diane Donald; one grandchild, her treasure David Phillip Donald. She is also survived by her loving sister Elsie Hutton. She was predeceased by her son David Wilfred Donald; mother Ethel Phillips and father Bill Phillips.
