Obituary of DUSTIN – Maie Hiroko

July 6, 1944 – December 1, 2009 Maie Hiroko Dustin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at home after a long, hard-fought battle with scleroderma. Maie Noda was born July 6, 1944 in Lethbridge, AB and grew up in the Rosemary, Duchess, and Bassano area. She had a long career as a highly respected elementary school teacher in the Calgary public school system. Maie truly loved her family very much and derived special joy from her grandchildren. She will be missed terribly by all, as evidenced by the multitude of people who called and visited regularly. She will be remembered always with the greatest love and admiration. Maie is survived by her husband Grant of 42 years, sons Ryan and Cameron, daughters-in-law Margo and Jill, and grandchildren Maya, Owen, Marcus, and Natalie. She is also survived by her mother, sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
