Obituary of GREEN – John William James

September 10, 1921 – November 26, 2009 John passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2009. He spent his last days in the loving and caring comfort of the Father Lacombe Care Centre. John was a WWII Veteran and proudly served as a British Royal Marine from 1939 to 1947. John worked at the Colonel Belcher Hospital in Nursing Services until his retirement. John is survived by his loving wife Mary of sixty-seven years, their three children Nigel, Elizabeth (Green-Stiles), and Alexander; five grandchildren, four step grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Father Lacombe Care Centre, 332-146 Ave. S.E. Calgary SE, on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
