I met Cheryl in the Day Program at L’Arche and she touched my heart on the very first day. She lit up the entire place with her happiness, laughter and completely open joy. She has been missed these past several weeks and she will continue to be missed.

Thankyou Cheryl for showing me how to be just whoever you are with no show, no embarrassment, no worry – you were who you were, and I strive to be just who I am.

You are a presence and a light that I will cherish always.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Jones and family,

I had the privilege of spending time with Cheryl at the l`Arche Day Program. I loved her dearly. She was such a delightful little lady. I will miss her very much.

I pray that God will console you and give you strength in this time of great loss.

I have fond memories of Cheryl – she loved it when I would cut her hair. She was very appericative of it. My girls loved Cheryl to pieces; they would sit and talk with her for as long as they could. Cheryl was short on words but big on loving everyone she met. The angels will be shinning upon her. God bless her and look after her.
