Obituary of REESON – Margaret Elizabeth

Margaret (Marg) Elizabeth Reeson of Calgary passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Marg was born on February 5 in Winnipeg, MB, the eldest of four children born to Richard and Elizabeth Layng of Saskatoon, SK. Marg and Len lived in Edmonton for fifty years before moving to Calgary to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Marg is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard Leonard and Anne Reeson of Victoria, BC; daughter and son-in-law, MaryElizabeth and Mike Robertson of Calgary; six grandchildren, Jill Robertson-Noyce (Dr. Ryan Noyce), David Robertson, Andrew Reeson, Michael Reeson, Patrik Reeson, and Kristina (Mark) Whitney; three great-grandchildren, Aeden Noyce, and Emma and Elizabeth Whitney; and sisters, Dorothy Larson of Edmonton and Jean Bertrand of Ottawa, ON. Marg was predeceased by her loving husband Len in 2000, and by her brother Jack Layng.
