Obituary of RICE – Lillian Rose

September 16, 1932 – November 18, 2009 Sadly with all our loving hearts, we announce that Lillian Rice of Calgary passed away peacefully on November 18, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Lillian worked for many years with the Calgary School board, teaching home economics at St. Mary’s. She was always very community oriented, and enjoyed to socialize with friends. She especially loved to play darts, and was a member of the #8 Legion. Lillian is survived by her loving sons, Ron Holcomb (Anita) and Gary Margson; daughter, Cheryl Hixt; sister, Marie (Sonny) Grant; brother Harry (Sylvia) Grant and Patrick Rice; loving granddaughters Nikkii Holcomb and Jenny Hixt; and several nieces and nephews.
