Condolences
Dear Norma:
I was very sorry to hear of David’s passing. I remember so fondly all our good times together. May all good blessings come to you and the girls as you meet your new challenges in life. You and Dave have always held a place in my heart. Bonnie Skinner
Dear Norma and Family,
Our deepest sympathy for the loss of Daivid. He was such a caring and good man, and will be sadly missed by many in Holy Nativity. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family at this difficult time.
To all in David’s family, my deepest sympathy. I knew David first when he was a teenager and living in Yorkton, SK. Later, I had many opportunities to share Bible studies and happy times with him when he was a student in Regina. I was privileged to be in the choir when he was ordained in Yorkton. It was such a shock when I heard about his untimely death as prayers were offered for him and his family at St. Paul’s Cathedral yesterday. I know he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Dear Norma and Family,
Gerry and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of David. He was a great golf buddy for Gerry and they had some good times together. David’s passing will be felt by many. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in your time of need.
Sincerely,
Gerry and Anita Anderson
Dear Norma, I am sorry for your loss, he was a good man and loved by many. Your friend Randy Romanyk
Dear Norma and family,
We are so sorry to hear of David’s illness and of his passing. We have fond memories of him. He was especially sympathetic
to me (Doreen) at St. Lawrence, after he had quit smoking, and knowing of my bad habit, assured me that there was still an ashtray
in the office! We hope the Lord will surround you with his love, comfort and peace.
With Love and Prayers,
Doreen & Warren Hindle
Oh what is there to say
To comfort you this day
When your dear one
Has been called away?
What words can express
The grief that strikes one’s chest
When away from us
Our beloved ones are pressed?
A thousand words can never
Paint an accurate picture
Nor express our inner feelings
Of sorrow joy nor hurt.
Maybe this will help
That I some aid comport
By reminding you of God’s embrace
From above to lend support.
All my love, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this sorrowful time. In time your memories will bring great joy. I remember how his eyes seemed to pierce right through me like he read my soul, but how it was always gentle.

Dear Norma and family: Our sincere sympathy to you as you mourn the passing of David, a dear husband, father and friend to many. We recall fondly the time we all spent in Nipawin, SK many years ago. David will be sadly missed.
Sincerely
Tom and Marg Agnew
I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Father David. To the best of my ability, I will endeavor to treat others the way he did with kindness, humour, sensitivity and unconditional support. In the short time I’ve known him, he tricked me into learning more about life and people than all of my experiences together. I am a better person for knowing him and I will do my best to live my life with gratitude, grace, and the sincerity by which he lived. David taught me this.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family on your loss. David will be missed.
Dear Norma:
I was shocked and saddened to hear about David’s untimely death. If it were not for David’s volunteering, I would not have met you both and had the special moments that I will forever hold close. My heart goes out to you and your family and if at any time you need something or just an ear to listen, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Teresa Saliba (Brae Glen Condos)
We have just heard the news, and our hearts go out to you, Norma, and to your family, with our prayers.
God bless and uphold you,
Sonja and Stan
My sincerest sympathy with your loss. Although I have not been in touch for many years – David was there for me at the times of my life when I most needed someone – and I am forever grateful, and will remember all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Norma, Pam, and Christine,
Barb told me about David. I am so sorry to hear, I didn’t know he had been ill. He was always very welcoming and personable when I knew him at St. Laurence. He will be sadly missed.
Love,
Marla, Steve, Nathan, Christopher and Elizabeth White
Norma
Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of David. It was quite a shock as I had met with him only a few weeks ago and he seemed fine. Knowing David from the time many years ago, when he studied Holy Nativity for his PhD, we had great respect for his intelligence and humor. We enjoyed his sermons and ministry when he served as interim at HN before Bryan arrived. On a more personal note, I greatly appreciated his advice to me during the past year as I investigated my “call” to ordination. He was my guide and mentor. We will all miss him very much.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your daughters during this very difficult period of loss.
Again we extend our deepest sorrow and sympathy to your family during this time.
