Condolences
I just read Jeff’s obituary in the Wynyard Advance.
Jeff is 2 days younger than I am; we started out together and spent many happy years in school.
I had not seen him for many years until his mom’s funeral.
I couldn’t get over how much he had matured into a look-a-like of his dad, Ole.
He still had that wonderful smile.
Nice memory I have of him from that day.
Pat
Dear Karen: I will always remember Jeff for an incredible outlook on life and being a glass half full person. The strength and courage he showed thru his illness was truly extraordinary. Every time I saw him he had an “it is what it is attitude” and wanted to chat about what we usually chatted about. His ability to deal with the business we chose was always so much better than mine and he constantly reminded me there was more to life than worrying. I also know a person’s strength is supplemented by the love that surrounds them. I know what his family meant to him and therefore that great strength of character wasn’t really surprising. I truly enjoyed spending time with him playing ball, talking shop or sports or anything really. I think he inspired people he knew to try and be a better person and when you think about it that is quite a legacy in itself. Kevin and Leona Abel
Dear Karen, I was sad to hear of Jeff’s passing. He was such a kind and gentle man. I hope you can find comfort in the special memories you shared. Let Faith, Family and Friends give you strength at this difficult time. My deepest sympathy Mary Widas (RN from PLC)
I’m also in the courier busniess and met Jeff several years ago , we would often talk business , gripe about it and laugh about it. I would often seek out his advice because I knew he was a good man, honest and hard working. I will miss him. I send my heart felt condolences to all of his family .
My condolences and deepest sympathy,
Marcello.
Dearest Karen, Kyle, and Ashley
Words will never express the deep loss and sorrow we feel for you at Jeff’s passing.
Jeff came into my life shortly after he and Karen began to date. My childhood friend Karen knew she had found “the one,” and I was thrilled for her. I was honored to stand with them at their wedding.
Jeff has always been a positve influence in my life. His constant good nature and his generosity was never outmatched. Jeff was always ready to lend a hand, cook burgers, :-)) or offer a perfectly-timed joke.
I will miss Jeff. The world is a little less bright with him gone.
With deepest sympathy,
Jan & Paul
Karen, Kyle & Ashley.
We will miss Jeff’s great laughter and summer jokes around the neigbourhood. Joey will surely miss his loving master and friend as will all of us.

his brightness shines for all time”
