I didn’t know Rob very long. He trained me this past summer. We had some good laughs training. Even this fall, he was always willing to help. He talked about his children alot. He loved you very much. I wish you God’s peace, lean on God, he is there for you.

I’m a young friend of Robert. I had met him when he was an Airdrie Transit Driver and to date I still spoke to him when seeing him around town and he was the happiest man I know. He always had a good day and loved to chat and I’ll certainly miss his stories. Sorry to hear of his passing and I hope he may rest in peace and may God bless his family.

My heart ached the day I found out of Robert’s passing, he was a wonderful man & fellow employee, no matter what, he was there for you & when he said he was going to do something it was done. He talked so highly of his kids every single day we chatted at the yard, He was so proud of all of Colton’s accomplishments & he always made sure he told everyone about his little girl….He will never be forgotten…..Heaven has an amazing angel watching over us all.

I also had the privilege of working with Robert. When I think back to his work ethic, he worked hard and was always there. Last winter he was Al’s sidekick when it came to pulling the buses out of the ditch and he was often found in the shop helping out the mechanics. Robert was cheerful and always found something to tease somebody about.

My heart was broken Sunday when I heard this sad news, he will be greatly missed around First Student, we really did lose a good friend, co-worker and employee. Rest In Peace My Friend……….

When I heard of Robert’s sudden passing on Sunday Nov 15, I had tears in my eyes. The news was passed onto me by a neighbor of yours. This neighbor spoke highly of Robert. His comments were, “You couldn’t ask for a finer neighbor, always there to help, whether we needed it or not”. Robert was a gentle, good natured and honest man. He said it like it was. I will personally remember him as a great fellow employee who always made time for you. You will be missed and I wish you were still here. God Bless to your family.

I had the privledge of knowing and working with Robert for the past few years both as bus drivers and trainers.

Robert always had a smile on his face and was good for a few jokes also. Robert was a kind and caring man and just recently he was so proud of his son when he wrote and passed his begginers driving test. Robert always went above and beyond what was required of him.
