Obituary of DICK – Robert Don

April 01, 1923 – November 15, 2009 Don Dick beloved husband of Evelyn Dick of Calgary, passed away on Sunday November 15, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Don was born in Bassano, Alberta on April 1, 1923. He was a member of the Calgary Highlanders, where he held the rank of Corporal. He served in both Canada and England. Don was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion #284 for 35 years. Besides his wife Don is remembered by three sons, a daughter, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great, great grandchild. Don is also survived by his sisters Elizabeth Fairbairn of Berwickshire, Scotland, and Diane McGee of Lasalle, Ontario. Don was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Thomas and grandson Scott Dick.
