Condolences
Thank you all so much for your words of kindness for my grandmother! She was a kind, loving and very entertaining lady. I will miss her dearly and think of her often with both a smile and a tear…It is wonderful to know how much she was loved, as I know how much she loved everyone around her. I am thankful for all the wonderful years we had with her, and the memory’s she left us.
Thank you all for your condolences left for my mom. As Christmas approaches, we are all left with memories of her sharp wittedness, her joyfulness and her love. We had the honor to have had her with us for the last 3 years celebrating her favorite time of year, Christmas. As we say hello to 2010, we will take with us her favorite expressions, and the love she shared.
I’ll miss aunt Mary. It’s been a long time since my mom’s funeral, when we saw each other, but I remember her as such a sweet lady who was always so nice to me. Condolences to all the family.

We were saddened to read of the death of Mary. She was a good friend and a respected and well liked volunteer at the food bank in Lethbridge. She worked with Gerri Parfitt in the garage sale. They often went for coffee and lunch together. After she left Lethbridge we often wondered how she was doing and Gerri called their friend Helen Edwards to inquire about her. She was a wonderful happy person and a true friend. She will be missed and thought of with respect. Sincerely, Jock Carpenter and Gerri Parfitt
Oh Susanne. Thank you for letting me know about your Mom. May she rest in peace. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your family. I do remember when I was boarding with you in Calgary. Your Dad was working away and your Mom and I occasionally, after my work was done for the day, would go cruising around town exploring the different areas of Calgary. I enjoyed it and welcomed the company of your Mom. She made the transition of living away from family a bit easier.
Regards, Pat Sywenky
Dear Susanne,
I am so sorry for your loss- your mother was such a dear and she really did have a zest for life. My heart bleeds for you not being able to go to Canada to say your goodbye.
Please pass on my condolences to Ron, Ryan and Carrie Ann also as I know they will miss Mary a lot also.

To Mary’s Family:
Mary was 7 months older than I and when we were living in Taber she was not only my favorite cousin but my best friend. Sadly, it has been more than 50 years since we visited. Last year at our Hall Family reunion in Taber we visited for such a short time, but at least we had time for a little chat. Many miles have separated us but memories stay with us forever. May you be blessed with sweet memories, too. Cousin Rae Hall Eller, Salt Lake City, Utah
