Obituary of HACKETT – Margaret Hynes

September 2, 1918 – November 13, 2009 Margaret Hynes Hackett of Calgary, born September 2, 1918 at Fox Island River, Newfoundland, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the age of 91 years. Margaret is survived by her son Michael; her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Bruce Kennedy, and Judith and Britton Mockridge; and brother Gerald Hynes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Alex Hackett (Jaci); Tracy Colville (Kevin); eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Ignatius; and her sons, Howard and David, as well as her daughter-in-law Margaret, wife of her son Michael. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2424 – 24th Avenue N.W.) on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2424 – 24th Avenue N.W.) on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
