Obituary of GIANNISSIS – Angela
March 19, 1931 – November 12, 2009
Humble “MRS. ANGELIKI” also known as “Madame Angelique” for her life long dedication to charity, an Aristocrat born in Athens in 1931, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Thursday, November 12, 2009.
Angeliki inspired a great number of people by seeding Orthodox values and will be remembered as a true philanthropist for her mission to aid others, her inspiration, kindness, generosity, honesty, and selflessness.
She is lovingly remembered and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church (402 Meredith Road N.E.) on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church (402 Meredith Road N.E.) on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. A bus will be provided to the Graveside Service following at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
