Obituary of VALENTE – Luisa

July 8, 1927 – November 11, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Luisa Valente announces her passing on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Luisa was born in Sessano, del Molise, Italy on July 8, 1927, and came to Canada in 1959 to join her husband. Luisa is survived by her children, Maria, Phil, Rita, Gerry, and George; grandchildren, Anna, Sarah, John, Liam, and Petra; and great grandson, Pearce. She is also survived by her brother Nicola; sisters, Antonietta and Gina. Luisa was predeceased by her husband Alessandro; and sisters, Concetta, Maria and Lucia. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (400 Edmonton Trail N.E.) on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in St. Joseph’s Section at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
