Obituary of ANDERSON – Barney Charles

April 23, 1929 – November 9, 2009 Barney (Ben) Anderson passed away peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the age of 80 years, to join his loving wife Vivian who predeceased him September 15, 2009. Barney was born in Portage La Prairie, MB to Barney and Catharine Anderson. He along with his wife Vivian are the founders of A & B Carpets, for which they took much pride. He loved golfing and his cottage at Hidden Valley Resort. Ben leaves behind his loving family; daughters Kathy (Jim) Bulmer, Linda Todd, and his sons Guy (Cat) Anderson, Barry (Nancy) Anderson, his loving grandchildren Tammy Todd, Kelly Todd, Rob and Jolene Bulmer, Bobby Todd, Brittney Anderson and Damien Anderson and his great grandchildren, also his loving sisters Mae Gauthier of St. Anne. MB, Lorraine Michelko of Prince George, BC and brother Sandy Anderson of Ste. Anne, MB. and their families. Ben was predeceased by his sister Irene McDonald and brothers Lawrence and Arnold Anderson. “We love you dad and grandpa – Rest in Peace” A Celebration of Ben’s Life will take place in the spring with his family and friends, and we will lay Mom and Dad to rest together.
