Obituary of CUNNINGHAM – David William

July 28, 1921 –November 8, 2009 It is with great sorrow that we the family of Dave Cunningham announce his passing. Dave passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Sunday evening November 8, 2009 following a lengthy illness. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Phyllis and his six children. Dianne, Marilyn (Mel), Bob (Marg), Ken (Deb), Pat (Larry) and Lloyd (Belinda). As well as his 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters, a brother, his Father Hugh, Mother Violet, Grandson David, and best friend Laddie. Dave was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta and met his loving wife and married in 1945. Dave was in the construction field for all of his working years and once retired continued to “tinker” in his garage and build things for his wife and children. Dave was a religious man with a great love of children and animals. (Especially birds and dogs).
