July 28, 1921 – November 7, 2009 Opal Edwards of Airdrie, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Opal is survived by her children, son and daughter-in-law Owen and Karin Edwards; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Doug Silbernagel; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Clayton and Lois Meadors and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Pete and Bernie Morison. Opal was predeceased by her husband Bob in 1986. Funeral Services will be held at Airdrie United Church (212 – 1st Avenue N.E.
