Obituary of GEORGE – Margaret Anna

May 31, 1933 – November 3, 2009 Margaret George of Calgary, our cherished, loved, and adored wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Margaret was born in Yorkton, SK, the eldest child of Karl and Minnie Bartelt. Schooled at Luther College Regina, and trained as a Psychiatric nurse in Weyburn, Margaret’s life revolved around her family and her never ending involvement and support of her children and grandchildren in any endeavor big or small. Much of her recent years were spent knitting articles and helping out at the Calgary Drop in Center. Left to mourn and remember her life are her husband Sandy; daughter Carol; sons, Alan (Faye), Bruce (Kandi), Derrick (Brenda); and grandchildren, Darcy, Bryce, Taylor, Sarah, Bradly, Justin, and Shaelynn. Also grieving are her sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Lloyd Liebrecht of Yorkton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Beverly and Margaret George; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins scattered across Canada and the USA as well as her very special friend Mary Lou Knowles.
